Job Description

We are hiring a Data Engineer to design and scale modern data infrastructure that powers real customer experiences. This role focuses on building cloud native data pipelines, distributed systems, streaming architecture, and scalable ETL frameworks.

You will work cross functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to deliver high impact data solutions. If you enjoy solving complex problems in big data, real time processing, and cloud architecture, we want to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines including batch and streaming
• Develop ETL and ELT workflows using modern data engineering best practices
• Build and maintain distributed data processing systems
• Partner with backend engineers to improve data ingestion and schema design
• Implement monitoring, performance tuning, and cost optimization strategies
• Support machine learning and business intelligence initiatives
• Improve reliability, scalability, and security across the data platform

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Distributed Systems, or Software Engineering
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
• Hands on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience optimizing large scale data processing systems
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Schema Registry, or Apache Iceberg
• Experience designing and operating stream processing systems
• Experience with data lakehouse architectures and ETL pipeline development
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data at scale
