Shift 2: 02:00PM - 10:00PM Monday - Friday
Shift 3: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Sunday - Thursday
We are seeking an Operations Technologist to autonomously set up equipment, execute sanitation, and support pilot/plant trials across multiple platforms with a focus on cereal operations. This role requires strong equipment operation , food safety compliance , and technical troubleshooting skills while supporting cross-functional teams. You will operate in a dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient system performance, high-quality output, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) .

Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up processing equipment with focus on equipment efficiency and process optimization
• Lead and execute equipment sanitation and perform post-clean inspections
• Ensure compliance with food safety , human safety , and conduct risk assessments
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems issues
• Train and coach team members on unit operations and system usage
• Support multiple platforms and adapt to changing production needs
• Maintain documentation and utilize basic computer systems (MS Office)
• Handle materials and operate powered equipment (pallet jacks, lifts)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with processing equipment , pilot plant/plant operations , or similar environment
• Strong problem-solving , critical thinking , and technical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of GMP , food safety standards , and safety protocols
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in varying plant conditions
• Strong communication, team leadership , and training/coaching abilities
• Familiarity with mechanical systems , electrical controls , and sanitation processes
• Ability to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed

Preferred:

• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Background in food manufacturing , laboratory operations , or CPG industry
