Responsibilities
- Provide neonatal and pediatric respiratory care per physician orders within the NICU setting
- Administer prescribed therapies (nebulized medications, oxygen, airway clearance) and manage ventilator support as directed
- Monitor patient responses, adjust therapy under protocol, and document findings accurately
- Maintain, calibrate, and clean respiratory equipment; adhere to infection control standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the respiratory therapy team to ensure coordinated care
- Participate in code/rapid response activities as skilled and appropriate, following established guidelines and protocols

Requirements
- Georgia state Respiratory Therapist license (RRT)
- NBRC credential: RRT
- Active AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU or neonatal/pediatric respiratory therapy experience
- Ability to work in a NICU/inpatient acute-care setting and perform 12-hour night shifts
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location
- Willingness to work a schedule that includes major and minor holidays as required
